Feature in the Gigi Journal Part II
Emily Joyce used her creativity to earn a place in an upcoming issue of V Magazine, in collaboration with international supermodel Gigi Hadid. The only Canadian to earn a spot in this collab, her upcoming piece is centered on the pandemic and its effect on society, as part of a worldwide art project with other artists from across the globe.

“I wanted to take a light-hearted approach to the theme “time in quarantine” by presenting a relatable scene for many of us who are staying home and social distancing. I wanted to use my style to create a comical piece that could bring a smile to the faces of those who find themselves in similar situations at home. It is in times like these where it is important to check-in with ourselves and make sure we are taking care, whatever that may mean!”
Honoured to have been able to represent Canada in this publication 🇨🇦
